The role of caregiving on maternal well-being and labour force participation

Women are known to encounter multifaceted and intersecting barriers that limit their equal participation and earning potential such as educational disparities, cultural stereotypes and their role as caregivers.

This study aims to better understand the association between caregiving, maternal well-being and maternal labour force participation in Nigeria through a systematic review of the literature.
